acDr. Biegel offers his clients a "positive patient experience" by combining strong communication skills with comprehensive evidence based medicine.

Dr. Biegel is an Associate at Newman Equine in Cocoa, Fl. Prior to this, Dr. Biegel worked at an equine clinic in Ocala, FL where he was responsible for ambulatory and in-clinic care of racing and performance horses and completed his internship at B.W. Furlong and Associates in Oldwick, NJ. During the internship, Dr. Biegel gained in-depth experience in the areas of lameness, internal medicine, sport horse medicine, and pleasure horse practice.

Dr. Biegel earned his Veterinary Degree from the University of Glasgow, graduating with commendation in 2009. During his time in the United Kingdom, he completed numerous externships and worked as a veterinary technician at the University’s equine hospital.   

Dr. Biegel grew up in north-eastern NJ and competed in the in AQHA circuits in NY and NJ. He received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Large Animal Science from Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture where he was a founding father of a chapter of the professional agricultural fraternity, Alpha Gamma Rho, and competed on the Intercollegiate Equestrian Team, serving as an officer for three years. He achieved his Masters Degree in Laboratory Animal Science from Drexel University College of Medicine in 2004.
